”I wish my full encouragement and support for FEAA UVT IHRM School 2020, a fascinating event in HRM domain which will be held online between 16th-20th November.
The FEAA UVT IHRM School is an international program which contributes to a better understanding of our world. The theme of “Employability and Talent Management in the Digital Era-Best Practices 4 Generation Together Online” is an actual and creative way to explore the present challenges of the labor market. Today’s workplace looks nothing like it did twenty or thirty years ago. Companies are becoming more and more focused on short-term hires, which means employees need to be focused on acquiring transferable skills.
Today’s job market is sending a very clear message to today’s younger generations:
The roles people are hiring for today, won’t be the roles they’re hiring for tomorrow.
In some ways, the changes are obvious: working remotely, for example, is the product of today’s new digital landscape. But working remotely, for example, is just the tip of the iceberg. The truth is, some of the biggest workplace shifts have much more to do with education and communication.
FEAA UVT IHRM School is an international educational program that provides a unique space for learning and networking for students from Romania and their peers from all around the world. Here, distinguished speakers will contribute through diverse perspectives and various experiences towards a better understanding of the HRM topics covered, encouraging new thinking and inspiring debates.
FEAA UVT IHRM School 2020 enjoys the presence of academics from the UK, Switzerland, Japan, New Zealand, USA, Malaysia, Austria, Greece, Serbia, Moldova, Romania, experts from multinational companies and other respected professionals. Aside from the educational program, participants will also take part in a virtual way to social activities. The IHRM School’s target group are students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. program, recent graduates and young professionals, with interest in the HR domain. As the future of work solidifies itself as digital, it’s going to be a must that the fundamental human skills still remain most relevant. All participants together online will try to prove this simple fact.
I would like to express my profound support to all the participants and anybody who directly or indirectly support this superb program.
Congratulations and good luck!”

” The new world of work is about innovative, non-conventional approaches to yield the most impactful outcomes.
We see every day how many domains are transforming and using high tech to develop and meet the needs of the labour market. Driven by accelerating connectivity, new talent models, and cognitive tools, work is changing. As robotics, AI, the gig economy and crowds grow, jobs are being reinvented, creating the “augmented workforce.”
Since artificial intelligence will be the basis of services and businesses around the world, digital, social media knowledge will be a must, together with professional and soft skills, such as social intelligence, adaptive thinking, leadership and team connections.
For employers, appear the need for more explicit attention to creating connections and community as workplaces become virtual.
In a super-connected and agile labour market, the labour force has to be flexible and agile, and the human resources management sufficiently agile to address their needs. How human resource management in organizations will succeed in coming up with solutions to deal with the new technologies and working with smart devices depends, more than ever, of the ability of virtual collaboration. It is not easy to collaborate, to build organizations online.
But we have the opportunity to create a preferred future for meaningful work for all. Depends only by us to shape it.
This special edition of FEAA UVT IHRM School 2020 invites the participants from 15 countries to discover, learn and share the key knowledge that helps them to understand and adapt to the new challenges of the digital age. “
